The city fascinates me – its buzz, its scale, its human-built wonder. There’s no denying its magnificence. Yet I compare it to wheat. When wheat receives too much water, the ripening head becomes too heavy, and the stalk can no longer hold it. It bends under the weight, it is leaning. The palette knife dominates here, with geometric cuts and decisive strokes creating a world that is both harsh and mysterious. Its severity is masked by its grandeur and vivid colors.
